A focus on application

Albert has spent more than 30 years studying martial arts and over 20 years working in private security for bars and clubs in New York and New Jersey. That background informs his emphasis on practical application.

He brings together Goju-ryu karate, aikido, and kickboxing influences in the Red Dragon Self Defense USA style he developed. His focus is useful instruction and real-world application rather than tournament competition.

Albert identifies his rank as tenth degree within his own Red Dragon Self Defense USA style. The school is independently operated and does not claim a current affiliation or certification from an outside martial arts organization.
